The ALCATEL/EIE ALMA Antenna Prototype approaches completion in New Mexico

Abstract
The article reviews the status of the European Prototype of the ALMA
antennas, which is in the final stage of assembly at the Very Large
Array site in New mexico. A short review of the technologies used in
the antenna is given in the text.
