One of the IOT project is to monitor the throughput of the AMBER
instrument.
A corrected AMBER flux in the
interferometric channels (per
ADU/s/pixel) is calculated by an additional script.
This is not corrected for the transmission of the VLTI. The transmission data
are available in the amber_performances qc1database
The AMBER flux is shown as a function of the K/Hmagnitude (extracted from SIMBAD) in the plots "throughput".
We also plot the correlation (if any) between the amber flux and the seeing,
this should give us an idea about the ingestion in the fibers.
General information
Click on any of the plots to see a close-up version.
The latest date is indicated on top of the plot, data points belonging to that date are specially marked.
If configured,
statistical averages are indicated by a solid line, and thresholds by broken lines
outliers are marked by a red asterisk. They are defined as data points outside the
threshold lines
"aliens" (= data points outside the plot Y limits) are marked by a red arrow (↑ or ↓)
you can download the data for each parameter set if the 'Data downloads' link shows up
