This page links to individual VLT instrument health check pages with information about the Paranal extinction. Currently there is the FORS2 extinction monitoring. Standard star observations from a running-box +/- 2 weeks interval are used to determine a common zeropoint as well as extinction values per night. Data obtained on photometric nights are plotted in colour.
