This plot
This is the relation plot for the ISAAC
QC parameters derived from DARK frames.
QC parameter are derived from post-pipeline
Quality Control processes in Garching, hence there are no
values from Paranal to be included.
These plots describe:
1. a) structural noise as a function of dark current (green: FPN(Dark)) and b) statistical noise (black: RON(DIT)) for Hawaii in DoubleCorr mode.
3. as Fig.1 but for Hawaii in NonDest mode.
2. as Fig.1 but for Aladdin in DoubleCorrHighBias mode.
4. as Fig.1 but for Aladdin in DoubleCorLowBias mode.
UncorrHighBias mode is operated in only one DIT=0.11sec;
hence the structural noise versus dark current relation cannot be measured.
Find more information about ISAAC DARK frames
here.
Other QC parameters related to detector properties
(like
structural noise,
linearity)
are trended.
General information
Click on any of the plots to see a close-up version.
The latest date is indicated on top of the plot, data points belonging to that date are specially marked.
If configured,
- statistical averages are indicated by a solid line, and thresholds by broken lines
- outliers are marked by a red asterisk. They are defined as data points outside the
threshold lines
- "aliens" (= data points outside the plot Y limits) are marked by a red arrow (↑ or ↓)
- you can download the data for each parameter set if the 'Data downloads' link shows up
