This plot
Trending plot for image quality obtained from autoguider.
Image quality is the QC parameter obtained from photometric standard star observations
by the data reduction pipeline for each science detector and is then averaged over 16 detectors.
TEL.GUID.FWHM is derived from the autoguider CCD detector located on the focal plane.
Name:
Fits header: QC.IMAGE_SIZE, TEL.GUID.FWHM
QC1 DB: qc_image_size, tel_guid_fwhm, tel_guid_fwhm_corr
Description:
Comparison between the image quality obtained by the VISTA acquisition system by analysing both autoguider CCDs and the image quality (what is measured on the VIRCAM science detectors). The TEL.GUID.FWHM values are transformed to the wavelength of the observations.
Setup:
INS.FILT1.NAME = Ks
These plots describe:
Fig. 1. trending of TEL.GUID.FWHM corrected: The acquision and auto guider system is operating at 500nm.
To be compared with the image quality of VISTA and VIRCAM, the acquisition and
guider image quality values
are transformed for observation wavelength.
Fig. 2. IQ against TEL.GUID.FWHM corrected (corrected for wavelength).

General information
Click on any of the plots to see a close-up version.
The latest date is indicated on top of the plot, data points belonging to that date are specially marked.
If configured,
- statistical averages are indicated by a solid line, and thresholds by broken lines
- outliers are marked by a red asterisk. They are defined as data points outside the
threshold lines
- "aliens" (= data points outside the plot Y limits) are marked by a red arrow (↑ or ↓)
- you can download the data for each parameter set if the 'Data downloads' link shows up
