ALMA BSCW Working Areas

The ALMA Workspace are supported by the software product Basic Support for Cooperative Work (BSCW), enabling collaboration over the Web. BSCW is a "shared workspace" system which supports document management, event notification, group communication and management, etc.

Most of the information stored in the ALMA Workspaces is restricted to registered ALMA Staff involved in the ALMA Project. If you are registered, you can directly access those workspace for which are invited as a member. To access these workspaces you have to identify yourself by entering your login name and password. Forgot your password? Just re-Register using the same e-mail as before.

ALMA Staff that is not yet registered and wish to have access to working documents stored in the workspaces can send an e-mail to the European ALMA Web Manager indicating in which area of the ALMA you are working and which area of BSCW Workspace you need access to: Management, Science & System, Science Advisory Committee, Site, Software, Receivers, Antenna, Backend, Software).
