For each pixel position over the detector, a time line is extracted, sorted, and a rejection is performed on this line in terms of high and low percentages of rejected pixels. This allows extraction of spurious pixel values and still adds up faint signals to increase the overall signal to noise ratio.
Default rejection percentages are set to 5% in both directions.
