                 VLT-SW-APR2003 - RELEASE NOTES FOR TCL/TK
                 =========================================

   The Tcl/Tk included with the VLT Common Software APR2003 release
   contains the following extensions, which are upgraded with respect
   to MAR2002 as indicated:
        - Tcl/Tk 8.3.5     (updated from 8.3.3)
        - [incr Tcl] 3.2.1 (updated from 3.2)
        - iwidgets 4.0.1   (updated from 3.0.1)
        - TclX/TkX 8.3.5   (updated from 8.3)
        - BLT 2.4z
        - msqltcl 1.99
        - img 1.2.4
        - Tktable 2.8    (updated from 2.7)
        - snack 2.2      (updated from 2.1)
        - expect 5.38    (updated from 5.32)
	- tcllib 1.3     (updated from 1.0)
        - tkman 2.1
        - Sybtcl
   Several of these extensions have been patched to deal with known
   problems.

   The VLT APR2003 release also provides the following Tcl/Tk based 
   utilities:
        - tclCheck 1.1.13
        - tkman 2.1
        - TclPro 1.5 (HP-UX only)

   Changes (with respect to MAR2002):
     - several newer versions (see above)

   New Features (with respect to MAR2002):
     - as part of the new releases (see the individual manpages)
