VLT Common Software

The VLT Common Software is the development platform for VLT applications. Until 2007 releases are named according to the scheme MMMYY or MMMYYYY (e.g. MAY97, FEB2000). Later releases drop the MMM part in their name reflecting the change to an annual release cycle. Instead the general term VLT is used now, leading to release identifiers VLTYYYY, e.g. VLT2008.

All VLT Common Software releases include code and documentation for both the third-party products used in the VLT SW development as well as the common software controlling the VLT.
