NAME

INIT - Standard command to initialize tifControl application

SYNOPSIS


    INIT                                                          .

DESCRIPTION


    INIT has to be called once when the application starts.
    This causes database and file paths to be initialized in the
    applications underlying TIF. During operation INIT can be used
    to cause rereading of the settings if they have been changed,
    eg. in the database.

    The devName parameter is not used.
