NAME

tifTCS_ISS_PUBLIC.class - Public TCS database class

 

SYNOPSIS

#include "tifTCS_ISS_PUBLIC.class" in a branch configuratioin file

 

DESCRIPTION

This file contains the definition of the tifTCS_ISS_PUBLIC database class which
defines the public TCS database structure. This is a customization for
VLTI ISS derived from tifTCS_PUBLIC.
It defines a set of attributes that TCS defines as publicly accessible.
A user willing to access some of these attributes must:
    - put an instance of this class in its own environment
    - activate the scan links for the attributes he needs

 

CAUTIONS

By default the scan links created by tifTCStoISS.scan will be all
defined in terms of database attributes and scanning parameters
(polling, on change, dead bands, frequencies...) but disabled.
For performance considerations it is left to the client the
responsibility of enabling the used ones.

Protection is achieved allowing only predefined workstation to scan from
the TCS workstation by configuring properly the TCS ws scan system.

Changing the configuration of scanning parameters with respect to the provided
script or scanning of other TCS attributes is considered illegal.
