There is no cinemas in Garching with a daily program. In Munich there is large choice of cinemas. Most of them show movies with German voice dubbing. A few show movies with original voices possibly with German subtitles. For the Munich, please check the overview of the Cinema programs
There is a wide variety of museums in Munich. Among the most famous ones are the "Alte Pinakotheek", the "Neue Pinakotheek", the "Pinakotheek der Moderne" and the Deutsches Museum. Close to the Deutsche Museum you can find the Forum am deutschen Planetarium, and Forum am deutschen Museum.
