ALMA about to be imaged from a hexacopter

This view of ALMA shows a small remote-controlled hexacopter using a camera weighing just 200 grams setting off to photograph the array. The device was used to take the first aerial images of the array since its inauguration in March 2013. These flights may have established a new altitude record for this type of helicopter, which was designed to operate much closer to sea level.
