The spiral galaxy NGC 1637 in the constellation of Eridanus

This chart shows the position of the spiral galaxy NGC 1637 in the constellation of Eridanus (The River). Most of the stars that are visible to the unaided eye from a clear and dark site are shown. The location of the galaxy is marked with a red circle. NGC 1637 is visible as a faint smudge in moderate-sized amateur telescopes.
