Tim de Zeeuw working at his desk
Professor Tim de Zeeuw, whose ten-year service as ESO Director General began in September 2007, works at his desk in 2017. Since 1991, he has been a Professor of Theoretical Astronomy at Leiden Observatory, and has been the Director General at ESO since 2007.
