Astronomové pracující s dalekohledem ESO/VLT objevili v centru jedné z nejpozoruhodnějších planetárních mlhovin dvojici vzájemně se obíhajících hvězd. Tento výsledek potvrzuje dlouho diskutovanou teorii popisující jevy, které vedou ke vzniku symetrických struktur hmoty vyvrhované do okolí. Výsledky byly publikovány 9. listopadu 2012 v odborném časopise Science.
