Někteří lidé mají dobrou formu ještě v 90 letech, zatímco jiní vypadají sešle už po padesátce. Víme, že to, jak rychle lidé stárnou, je jen málo spjato se skutečným věkem – mnohem více je to dáno především jejich životním stylem. Nová studie provedená s pomocí MPG/ESO 2,2 metrového dalekohledu observatoře ESO na La Silla a Hubbleova dalekohledu NASA/ESA objevila, že stejně je tomu tak i v případě hvězdokup.
