Tým astronomů použil dalekohled ALMA (Atacama Large Millimeter/submillimeter Array) k upřesnění polohy více než stovky galaxií s nejproduktivnější hvězdotvorbou v mladém vesmíru. Výkon přístroje ALMA je mimořádný. Během několika hodin pozorování zachytil stejné množství těchto galaxií, jaké bylo podobnými teleskopy na celém světě sledováno za posledních deset let.
