The 1-m Photometric Telescope
Arter having been housed in a provisional dome on La Silla since the end of 1966, the telescope resumed its work in the permanent dome in the fall of 1968. It is shown here equipped with the ESO Photometer and with Jan Doornenbal, ESO''s chief mechanic in the background.
