The VLT from above

The Very Large Telescope (VLT) is the workhorse for European ground-based astronomy. Standing on top of Cerro Paranal, this set of telescopes has been operating since 1998.

This drone view shows us the full extent of this powerful machine that allows us to unravel some of the fascinating mysteries of the Universe.
