ALMA’s dishes huddle together in the desolate landscape of Chile’s Atacama Desert

The Large Atacama Millimeter/submillimeter Array consists of 66 dishes working together to comprise an enormous radio telescope that can see the coldest regions of the Universe in astonishing detail.
