Auxiliary Telescope
ESO's Very Large Telescope is located at Paranal in Chiie and here in the foreground can be seen one of its Auxiliary Telescopes. In the background the Milky Way sweeps across the sky, showing off the fact that Paranal is one of the best locations in the world to see it.
