Flags flying at ALMA OSF

Aerial view of the ALMA Operations Support Facility (OSF), located at 2900 metres altitude, on the road to Chajnantor. Three antennas are positioned beside the main OSF building. Here, the antennas delivered by the partners are tested by the ALMA observatory prior their final acceptance. ALMA is a global partnership between Europe, North America and East Asia, in cooperation with Chile. In this picture, taken on 24 March 2011, the flying flags of the countries involved in the ALMA project are visible.
