ESO Open House 2006
ESO opened its doors to the public in October 2006 for an Open House event at the headquarters in Garching, Germany. The event was organised on the occasion of the opening of the new U-Bahn U6 line north out of Munich to ESO. The Open House featured various presentations, amateur astronomical observation opportunities, a planetarium show for kids, and, of course, refreshments.
