Oscillation frequencies in the giant star xi Hya
The "frequency spectrum" of the giant star xi Hya, as deduced on the basis of extensive velocity measurements with the 1.2-m Leonhard Euler telescope at the ESO La Silla Observatory (Chile). The abscissa unit is microHertz; 100 µHz corresponds to a period of 10,000 seconds (2.78 hours).
