Distant Galaxy EIS 107 (z=3.92)
This photograph shows a true-colour image of the galaxy EIS 107 in the "AXAF Deep Field". The sky area measures 32 x 32 arcsec 2. It is a combination of U, B, V, R and I-band images, taken with the NTT during the EIS survey; the exposure times were 4.7, 1.8, 1.5, 1.5 and 3.5 hours, respectively.
