Chajnantor at late morning
Chajnantor at late morning (11 am). For this picture a polarising filtre was used, which shows its huge effect in the upper left corner. All angles of incident light, camera postion and field of view are near to optimal for eliminating stray light and thus reveal the transparency of the atmosphere above Chajnantor. Image taken in March 2002.
