Integration of the LGSF launch telescope
The Laser Guide Star Facility (LGSF) is a powerful laser creating an artificial star used as reference for Adaptive Optics observations. It is shining through a small "launch telescope" mounted on top of Yepun, the 4th Unit Telescope of the VLT. Here, the lauch telescope is being integrated before its installation on the telescope.
