Paranal's Auxiliary Telescopes
At the foot of one of the massive Unit Telescopes (UTs) at the Paranal Observatory sits a mobile Auxiliary Telescope (AT). Two of its brethren loom in the distance. The tracks that allow for optimal placement of the ATs during an observational event are seen here as well.
