Paranal submerges into sunset
The silhouette of Cerro Paranal, home of ESO’s Very Large Telescope, stands over a bright orange western horizon at sunset. The picture is taken from Cerro Armazones, the selected site for the ELT, located some 25 km away from Paranal, in the Chilean Region of Antofagasta.
