Max Alexander taking photos of the staff at ESO's Paranal Observatory
The award-winning editorial and commercial photographer Max Alexander taking photos of the ESO staff preparing the M3 mirror of one the VLT’s Unit Telescopes for cleaning, ahead of recoating. The recoating process is done every 18 months to ensure that each mirror is kept in an ideal condition. From left to right, Jaime Gonzalez, Guillaume Blanchard and Ernesto Araya.
