ESO Photo Ambassadors in UT3 control room
ESO Photo Ambassadors, Babak Tafreshi (left) and Yuri Beletsky (right) in the control room of the Very Large Telescope (VLT) Unit 3, one of four 8.2-metre Unit Telescopes (UTs), which can work independently or in combined mode. In this latter mode the VLT provides the total light collecting power of a 16-metre single telescope.
