X-SHOOTER Signature in Copenhagen
ESO Director General Dr. Catherine Cesarsky and the Vice-Chancellor of the Copenhagen University Mr Jørgen Olsen signing the agreement for the construction of the X-shooter, a second generation VLT instrument that was to go into operation in 2008. X-shooter is a joint project of ESO and institutes from France, Italy, Denmark and the Netherlands.
