Spanish Minister for Science and Innovation visits Paranal and ALMA
On 1–3 August 2011, the Paranal Observatory and ALMA were honoured with a visit from the Spanish Minister for Science and Innovation, Cristina Garmendia Mendizábal. Here the delegation is seen in front of the Very Large Telescope. The minister is the third person from the left. ESO Director General Tim de Zeeuw is seen to the right.
