An astronomer's residence
A view of the Residencia — astronomers' home away from home at ESO's site at Paranal. In the background you can make out the platform of the Very Large Telescope (VLT).
The Residencia is an award-winning building, and served as a backdrop for part of the James Bond movie Quantum of Solace.
