| Group Description | Hi folks! We are studying astronomy in a special course in Paltamo Jr High School. We will visit an observatory and have a space camp. We are going to have some radio amateur contacts to Mir-space station and in September 1996 we got greetings via ham radio from astronaut Jay Apt from the space shuttle Atlantis STS-79. There are about 350 pupils in Paltamo High School. Paltamo is situated in the middle part of Finland. Paltamo is very nice place to live. We have fresh air and water, many lakes, big hills and friendly people. The Group Members are: (Young ladies first) Annika, Tuija, Tiina, Maija, Anna, Salla, Sanna, Anna, Maaria, Kirsi, Tiiti, Hanna, Saara, Sanna, Riitta.
