Information about Observing Programme

Programme no. 11
Title Mare Serenitatis and Tranquillitatis
Proposing Group(s) MoonWalker Student Group

Abstract: In this research we examine and compare stones of the Moon with stones from the Bukk hills of Hungary. These stones are special, because of the high titanium contents. These stones are from the south edge of the Mare Serenitatis, and the west edge of the Mare Tranquillitatis. We would like to estimate the age of these areas on the base of crater statistic. For this examination we ask you to make these images for us.
