Comments by OPC

General Comments: The scope of the proposal is not clear. Photometry in three filters on bright stars in the Pleiades is requested, but it is not explained how the "quality" of the atmosphere can be derived from the observations. The seeing could be checked, but if one wants to measure the transparency, standard stars are necessary under photometric conditions to derive the instrument's efficiency first.

Visibility: Pleiades are visible.

Special Comments: Only feasible if selected stars in Pleiades can be considered as standard stars (intrinsic colour and magnitude should be known). The applicants ask for observing time at different telescopes.

Expected time consumption (including overhead): About 10 min.

Proposed facility: Brorfelde, OHP, Wendelstein, COAA, Bradford, Crni Vrh (available Northern facilities)
