Poetry

In this section you can find everything you have always dreamed... In fact, here there are a lot of poetries about stars and feelings that we have always proved looking at the sky... You will read a lot of important poetries and in the end you will find my poetry; I wrote it looking at the sky, in the night of Saint Laurence.

I hope you will like them! Have a nice read!

1- Giovanni Giudic i

      Star

Good luck, orbit of other decade

stay with me like my only planet and my destine:

Last red of the changing wine,

yes and not of your gleam

Although knowing you will be our end of the river

all naked and well known, finally

star of your poet darkly

the able only nest pure feathers.

             2- Giuseppe Ungaretti

Serene

A fter much fog

 one to one

the stars

are revealed

I breathe

the cool that leaves me

the colour of the sky

I recognize my Image

Passing

Taken  in an immortal turn.

    3-    Giuseppe Ungaretti

    Stars

They come back high to burn the tales.

They will fall with the leaves on the first wind.

           But that another breath come,
          new sparkling will come back.

      4- Giacomo Leopardi

          The Endless

Always dear was for me this lonely hill
and this hedge, that for a long tract
excludes the view of the last horizon.
But sitting and watching, unlimited
spaces through it, and superhuman
silences, and very deep quiet
I realize in my mind, where the heart
is nearly to be afraid. And as I hear
the wind rustling between these trees,
I am comparing that endless silence
to this voice: and occurs to me the eternal,
and the dead seasons, and the present
and alive one, and its sound. So among this
immensity my mind drowns itself
and to be wrecked in this sea is sweet for me.

5- Dante Alighieri

Paradise, canto XXIII

Sky of the fixed stars.

...Like in the serene full moons

the Moon shines among the eternal nymphs

who paint the sky in each part,

I saw above thousands of luminous souls

and a Sun that was lighting up them,

how our Sun does with the Stars;

and appeared through the bright light

the bright Substance, so bright

in my face, that i could not support her.

   6-  Giacomo Leopardi

Memories

Vague stars of Orsa, I couldn't believe

getting back again to use and to gaze  you

on the paternal garden sparkling,

and thinking with you from the windows

of this hotel where I lived  when i was a child,

and where  I saw the end of my happiness.

Once, how many imagines , and how many fantasies

in my mind created by your appearance,

and by some lights that were you mates then ,

S ilence, sat in a green clod,

I used to spend some evenings

looking at the sky and listening to

the far frog's singing at the countryside!

7- Francesco Dall’Angaro

I have fallen in love with a star:

the star is in the sky, and it is not possible to touch it;

 no thing seems better,

since the day I saw her sparkling.

 My heart collapses only looking at it;

Think if  I could caress her!

Clouds, that sometimes conceal it to me,

and that of his brightness  make silver-plate

,

tell her, if you arrive up to her,

tell her in kindness my feelings.

Get down from the celestial time please,

or to fly  to her, give me the wings! !

8- Umberto Saba

Dear place

We wandered so long in the afternoon

looking for a place  to join our  two lives  in only one.

Noisy, adult hostile, the life,

our youth was threatening  by it

but then, arrived where still  crickets are singing,

how much silence under this moon.

   9- Pina Sozio

     Saint Laurence

In the hot night of Saint Laurence

I did not seen the stars falling down

dipped in the darkness

I  reached the immense

I would  liked with an only embrace

to fill of brilliant emotions

but the sudden one

pervaded from the sense of the unknown one

I took back every thing to his place

and with my stop feet

among known sensations

I  hoped uselessly

to see little meteor

remove from over there

coming to me, alone,

I did not seen the stars falling down

maybe my heart

full of dreams come true

in the magic  night of Saint Laurence

did not wanted .

10-  Mariangela Palumbo

Endless Shadings

Irreversible silvery warlike,

 that incite emotions forgotten,

endless inner imprints,

 almost surrealistic…

…that determine the passage of a life.

  Looks that contemplate

 the harmonious star landscape,

waiting for an angelic voice that

 allow us to touch

with the hands of new beings,

the wings of the cosmos,

our road across yearned hopes,

sustained from a wind of inalienable prayers

that burn in one instant

the silences of our ego.

Tides that travel our look

harmoniously

flooding the fields of our ideals,

 charming signs for the seasons,

for the days and

 for the years…

Look for the one that does the Pleiades and Orion,

that puts the horizon to our feelings,

the prince that has given us

the oneness of the reflections

 of a rainbow without end,

that raised up there

sighs and emotions,

that dissolve themselves between myth and religion,

 crossing the gold earthly mirror,

e xceeding the dark kingdom

and crossing the silvery thresholds..
