A CURIOUS FACT ABOUT ALPHA DRACO, FIXED STAR, IS THAT SCIENTISTS BELIEVE THAT IT IS A DOUBLE STAR. APPARENTLY, PHOTOMETERS INDICATE DIFFERENT INTENSITIES, WHICH MEANS THAT ANOTHER STAR TURNS AROUND THIS STAR  AT A VERY HIGH SPEED.

IT IS A "MATE" STAR , SEPARATED FROM ALPHA DRACO -according to Burnham-
BY 20 MILLION MILES AND WHICH SPINS WITH A PERIOD OF 51,4 DAYS.

WITH REGARD TO ITS COMPOSITION, WE CAN SAY THAT, AS IT BELONGS TO TYPE A, IT SHOWS HYDROGEN STRIPES OF THE MAXIMUM INTENSITY AND WEAK STRIPES DUE TO THE PRESENCE OF METALLIC IONS.

THE HIGH PROPORTION OF C H ROM E AND OTHER METALLIC ELEMENTS , SHOW THAT BEFORE THERE WAS A STAR WHICH DIED AND EXPLODED INTO SUPERNOVA AND THEN STARTED TO FORM ANOTHER STAR (THE ACTUAL ONE) CALLED "SE COND GENERATION " AND ITS SYSTEM; BUT THIS ONE INCORPORATES MORE HEAVY ELEMENTS ORIGINA TED IN THE OVEN OF THE FIRST EXPLOSION .
