Meals

For general information about restaurants in Garching, please see the local information page on the ESO website.

Apart from the Conference Dinner, evening dinners are not provided and delegates should make their own plans.

Lunches

Arrangements for lunch depend on the day of the conference:

Thursday 19 July, Friday 20 July, and Monday 23 July

On these days, lunch will be at the IPP Canteen. Directions will be provided at the Summer School, but you may also wish to consult the ESO facilities site plan.

Saturday 21 July

On this day, lunch will be provided outside the Council Room, in the ESO Headquarters.

Sunday 22 July

On this day, delegates will make their own plans for lunch either in Garching or in Munich, on the way to the Deutsches Museum. There is a wide selection of restaurants in Garching or Munich.

Conference Dinner

The Conference Dinner will take place on Saturday 21 July, at the Ismaninger Biergarten.
