CD-ROM: Six Wide-Field-Imager (WFI) Full Resolution Images (November 2002) (SOLD OUT)

This double CD-ROM contains six large TIFF-files with full-resolution versions of six wide-field images, obtained with the Wide-Field-Imager (WFI) on the MPG/ESO 2.2-m telescope at the La Silla Observatory. The objects are the Moon (eso9903c), the Tarantula Nebula in the LMC (eso0216), the star-forming area RCW 108 (eso9925), the spiral galaxies NGC 300 (eso0221) and NGC 4945 (eso9922), and the cluster of galaxies ACO 3627 ("The Great Attractor") (eso9954). Each field covers about 8000 x 8000 pix². The CD-ROMs were produced by the ESO Public Relations Department. to show the true wealth of information on such frames and also to allow professional-quality reproduction of the full fields.
