ESOshop: ESO Calendar 2013

ESO has again produced a calendar for the year 2013, with beautiful astronomical images, unique pictures of ESO' s telescopes and breathtaking landscapes.

Lunar phases are also indicated.

The calendar measures 42 x 42 cm and has 14 pages, with a cardboard back. It is delivered in a cardboard box.

This image of the Carina Nebula, a region of massive star formation in the southern skies, was taken in infrared light using the HAWK-I camera on ESO’s Very Large Telescope. Many previously hidden features, scattered across a spectacular celestial landscape of gas, dust and young stars, have emerged.
