ESOshop: ALMA Pin
When completed in 2013, the 66 antennas of the Atacama Large Millimeter/submillimeter Array (ALMA) will work together as one telescope, with a resolving power of up to ten times greater than the Hubble Space Telescope. The official ALMA lapel pin depicts three of the antennas observing under the constellation Crux, or the Southern Cross. The pin measures 1.1 cm x 1.5 cm.
