Communicating Astronomy with the Public 2011 (CAP 2011)

Communicating Astronomy with the Public (CAP) conference is organised by the International Astronomical Union (IAU) Commission 55. The CAP2011 will take place between 10 and 14 October 2011 at the Xiyuan Hotel in Beijing, China and it approaches themes such as: social media and other unconventional methods for astronomy outreach, media relations in the digital age, citizen science projects, astronomy communication in the developing world, the legacy of the International Year of Astronomy 2009 and much more.
