Pan over the artist’s impression of CoRoT-7b

This animation pans over the artist’s impression of the system of planets around the star CoRoT-7. Starting from the further of the two planets, it then shows the Sun-like star to finish with what the closer of the two planets — the first to be found with a density similar to that of Earth — may look like: a planet covered by lava.
