Into the Invisible with ISAAC

This video clip starts with some sequences from the servicing of ISAAC at the Nasmyth focus of the first 8.2-m VLT Unit Telescope (UT1). The astronomers and engineers prepare the observations from the VLT Control Room. The telescope turns and the first astronomical images appear on the screen. Then follows a short series of some of the "First Light" images, followed by a statement by the ISAAC Principal Investigator (PI).
