Architecture:  A command interface is provided by the tadcServer process that implements the commands to access the various status information and actions defined by the Use Cases. The hardware access is done via the Motor Control Module (VLT Common Software). Each needed position will be mapped to a named encoder value that is passed to MCM, which in turn takes care of moving the motor to the correct position.
