Use Case:  Monitor Telescope Temperature Sensors

Description:  Monitor the Telescope Temperature Sensors located on the telescope.

Preconditions: 

• Telescope Temperature Sensors are available
• Telescope Temperatures available
  The TAC Velocity Control Loop is running on the Slave Altitude LCU: the Telescope Temperature Sensors are readout at 1Hz on the Analog IO board

Basic Course: 

• TRS trigger on given period (TBD)
• ATCS reads all the Telescope Temperature Sensors
  Exception Course: Command failed
• ATCS stores the Temperature values for statistics
  Subflow: Air Conditioning is active

Subflow: Air Conditioning is active

• ATCS forwards the temperature values to ACS PLC
  Exception Course: Command failed
  Postcondition: Temperature values forwarded to ACS PLC

Exception Course: Command failed

• ATCS logs an error

Postconditions: 

• Telescope Temperature values are recorded

Issues to be Determined or Resolved: ACS PLC protocol: It must be flexible enough to accomodate for new temperature sensors, if needed.

Notes: These temperatures should also be fits-logged for trend analysis.
