The UVES science reduction scheme requires all calibrations previously obtained. Check here for the UVES calibration scheme.
The flux standard stars are included here for simplicity, since their processing is identical to that of science frames as far as the requirements for existing calibration products are concerned. However, logically they are not part of science reduction.

Raw science files are described here. Calibration products are described here. They are named using a naming scheme. The ones with a solid line are required for science reduction in OPT extraction mode. The ones with broken lines are additionally used for AVG extraction. Raw science frames and calibration products are combined in a Reduction Block which builds a reduction job within the pipeline. |
